Oof Plane est un show audiovisuel basé sur les avions. Il a été créé lors du Festival biennal Depayz’Art à Melun et joué devant 15 000 personnes dans un énorme aéroport. Le concept du festival était d’amener les artistes à travailler en collaboration avec les acteurs locaux de cette région. Pour monter ce show, le musée de aéronautique français à prêté les archives vidéo qu’ils avaient, soit environ 500 heures. La plupart des images étaient sans intérêt, il s’agissait principalement de films promotionnels en 16mm detinés à vendre des moteurs d’avions aux constructeurs étrangers. Malgré tout, Oof à réussi à réaliser 4 Cineclips-mashups synchronisés, et trouvé près de 40 vidéo-clips qui avaient rapport à l’aviation (merci Britney ;o) diffusés sur 9 écrans de 10x5m entourant le public…

Oof Plane is the creation of an audiovisual show about aircrafts, it was done for the biennal festival Depayz’Art in Melun (Paris outskirts) on the New years Eve party of 2010/2011 with 15 000 people in a huge Airport. The festival concept is to bring artists to work with the local potential of this region, the french Aeronautic Museum next to the airport lent me all the video archive they had, about 500 hours. Most of these were quite poor uninteresting footage, 16mm B to B movies to sell aircraft motors to foreign manufacturers, despite my eyes shutting I managed to direct 4 Cineclips of mash-up, about 15 minutes of synched fun. Another hard part was to complete these with 40 videoclips that had planes & good music for the big show with a round of 9 screens of 10 by 5 meters! The audience took off…
