Ping Pong has grown substantially since in its inception in 1998 and after ten years decided to celebrate its commitment in the music industry.
A brief history. Starting with press relations with every media outlet and music genre particularly for Ninja Tune in France, Ping Pong’s activities have widened to become a cultural marketing agency combining music supervision, sponsorship, web and radio content, Premium CDs, strategic consulting for new trends, counter-culture ‘total-art events’, festivals, club nights, film and music publishing and production. It boasts a strong online presence through social networks and newsletters.
Furthermore, Ping Pong represents a psychedelic art collection and a roster of illustrators, painters, graphic designers, as well as art installations, with whom many exhibitions has been curated.
Ping Pong has helped many artists to be successful such as: Gotan Project, Birdy Nam Nam, TTC, Gonzales, Gilles Peterson, Amon Tobin, Santigold.
Throughout its history, the association has also worked with many well-established companies and organisations including: Kenzo, Nissan, Citroën, Victorinox, Costes, Red Bull Music Academy, La Poste, New Balance, Universal, Warner, EMI, BMG, Sony, Kompakt, B-pitch control, Edbanger, Cannes Film Festival, Burning Man, 104, Centre Pompidou, and Palais de Tokyo.
The association has tried to strike the right balance between being successful and being independant with its desire for quality fueling the expansion of services. And after 10 years, Ping Pong & Jais Elalouf have organized a tryptic celebration at The Bataclan – Paris with some well established electronic music composers.
